![]() ![]() Upon the restart, the installer will initiate automatically and by following the on-screen prompts you can finish installing Windows on your Mac device. You must create a new partition on your hard drive out of the previously allocated free space to efficiently install the Windows OS on your system which will also require a restart to finalize the changes. Unless you plan on installing the Windows 7 version, the Boot Camp application will automatically also download the drivers for Windows 10 & Windows 8.1 while it’s copying OS files into the flash drive, or else you’ll have to manually download the drivers by using the Apple’s official site. The OS files will now be automatically copied into the thumb drive after you allow it the confirmation. Run the Boot Camp application and select the flash drive from the option before clicking on the ‘Choose…’ option located next to the ‘ISO Image’ which demands that you select the ISO file you previously downloaded to your system. The preinstalled version of the Boot Camp will be enough but before you begin, do update it along with your Mac OS and then proceed to connect an empty flash drive (8 GB or more).
